About us

We did not discover healthcare. We grew up in it.

Ritzl & Gietz is two founders, one conviction: the people who hold this industry together are not valued the way they should be. This page is the story of why we are building a place where that changes.

Where we come from

This industry sits at our kitchen table.

Our mother and our sister work in healthcare. We grew up with the late shifts, the weekend plans that fell through, and the stories of what it takes to care for people well.

And we saw something else up close: how little of that comes back. People who carry the system are rarely courted, rarely asked what they actually want, and often only noticed when they leave. That is the part we could not let go of. It is close to our heart, because it is our family.

Not our first day

With Apogo, we are already in the business.

One of us already runs Apogo, a company for temporary staffing in healthcare. Day after day, that work puts us on the phone with both sides: organisations that cannot fill a shift, and professionals quietly wondering whether somewhere else would treat them better.

So we know how the market actually behaves, not how a job portal imagines it. That experience is the ground this platform is built on.

How we work with Apogo

What we kept seeing

Everyone is searching. Hardly anyone is finding.

Practices and clinics search for months and do not find the people they actually need. Not because those people do not exist: they do. They are simply employed somewhere, they are not browsing job boards, and they never see the advert.

An advert only reaches the people who are actively looking. The best people mostly are not. Both sides lose: one waits for applications that do not come, the other never hears what they would be worth somewhere else.

So we turned it around

The offer travels to the professional, not the CV to the practice.

A professional builds one profile, once, and we review it by hand. Employers search that pool and answer with something concrete: salary, workload, start date, conditions. No cover letters, no waiting, no being invisible because you happen to have a job.

That is what we mean by value on both sides: professionals finally get courted the way their work deserves, and employers finally reach the people no advert ever reached.

What we hold on to

Four things we refuse to compromise on.

Appreciation first

The people who carry healthcare deserve to be asked, not to ask. Every design decision here starts from that.

By hand, on purpose

We read every profile before it appears. A curated pool is worth more to both sides than a big one.

Discretion is the deal

Nobody's current employer learns that they are open. That promise is kept in the software, not in the small print.

Both sides must win

We only earn when a change actually happens and holds. A match that does not fit costs us, which is exactly how it should be.
